The smaller SM thermal power station is more conducive to handling high loads and is suitable for peak loads; the larger SM thermal power station can provide stable output for a longer period of time and is suitable for the base load. A smaller SM has a greater capacity value for a CSP station. Capacity is an important part of the value of solar thermal power plants. If the solar energy resources are reasonably scheduled and forecasted, CSP stations can generate capacity values ​​similar to those of traditional thermal power plants.
