The maintenance quota can be divided into three parts : preventive maintenance system, maintenance and repair quota, and preparation of forklift repair plan.
1 . Preventive maintenance system Preventive maintenance system is the basis for the effective use of forklifts . This maintenance system consists of a number of interrelated regulations and specifications. The maintenance and repairs it stipulates are planned and are carried out when the forklift is also able to prevent accidental failures. .
If the unplanned repair (called after-the-fact repair or fault repair) is carried out when the forklift fails or the performance falls below the acceptable level, there may be frequent accidental faults caused by the technology, which will lead to long time. Downtime, causing large losses to production, will also add additional difficulties and cost to the repair work. Therefore, the method of post-repair and after-the-fact maintenance is not used now.
The daily maintenance of each shift is carried out by the operator before the shift. The basic task is to perform external inspection of the whole machine or each component to ensure that there is no fault during the shift. Fill with fuel and lubricating materials as well as electrolyte, cooling water and brake fluid. After doing the daily maintenance, it can basically meet the safety technical requirements in the work process.
The preventive maintenance system also stipulates two types of regular maintenance according to the amount of work and the running time: primary maintenance (one guarantee) and secondary maintenance (two guarantees). The purpose of regular maintenance is to maintain good or maintain rated working capacity between two adjacent periodic maintenance.
Repair is to remove all technical processes caused by surface wear, part deformation, and damage caused during the production work. According to the workload, it can be divided into items and overhauls.
The repair is based on the actual technical state of the forklift to ensure targeted repairs. Replace and restore individual parts and make adjustments.
Overhaul is to repair the damage of the machine and restore its rated working capacity. Overhaul any part that replaces or repairs the main part and adjust it to repair damage and restore its life.
2 . The maintenance and repair quota shall be determined according to the continuous working time between the maintenance and repair of the forklift, and all preventive measures (ie daily maintenance, first insurance, second insurance, repair and overhaul) of the preventive maintenance system shall be implemented in a timely manner. The truck can only be reused after the specified maintenance and repairs have been carried out.
When developing preventive maintenance quotas, it must be noted how often the forklift is used. Because the operation of the forklift is different, the loss of the weight is different, and the repair of the loss is related to different preventive workload. Therefore, the interval between maintenance and repair should ensure that the forklift with high annual operating capacity is in the rated working capacity.
The interval between maintenance and repair of the forklift is shown in Table 2-10. The duration of the work of the forklift between maintenance (maintenance period) is independent of the strength of the work. After a certain amount of work (kt) is completed or after a certain running time (month or year), the forklift is repaired and overhauled. The timing of the maintenance and repair of the forklift is shown in Table 2-11.

Due to the structural complexity of the forklift, the degree of repairability, the organization of the work and the process, the range of maintenance and repair work varies greatly. A truck with a complicated structure has a larger warranty than a forklift of the same type. The estimated budget for several types of forklift maintenance and repair work is shown in Table 2-12. These quotas can be used for labor, process and equipment repair programs, and to determine the consumption of spare parts and materials.

3 . The forklift repair plan is a major part of the company's production, technology, and financial planning. After a certain period of operation or a certain amount of work is completed, the forklift shall determine a targeted and preventive repair plan based on the actual technical conditions of the forklift. Specify the maintenance required during the planning period, which forklifts are to be repaired, as well as the type, content, time, required hours, materials, spare parts, expenses, etc., so that the maintenance work can be planned. The planned repair is a purposeful prevention of forklift failure. And the main measures to restore the rated working condition. Through the correct and practical repair plan, it is possible to arrange manpower and material resources in a unified manner, prepare for pre-repair in time, reduce downtime, reduce repair costs, and achieve the purpose of timely maintenance and normal production.
