First, the definition of wood-based panels
Wood-based panels, as the name suggests, are made from the corner scraps produced by the wood during processing, mixed with other fibers. There are many types of wood-based panels, such as particleboard, medium-density fiberboard, blockboard (large core board, wood board), plywood, technical wood, wood or bamboo flooring. Because they have different characteristics, they are used in different furniture manufacturing fields.
Second, the main types
(a) plywood
Plywood is laminated by miscellaneous veneer and glue. Generally, it is pressed and cross-pressed at the time of pressing. The purpose is to enhance the strength. Generally, the thickness of 12 PCT or more is required to be 9 or more layers, 10 PCT thick and 5 or more layers. There are 4 types of plywood according to category, namely, weather resistant and moisture resistant plywood is Class I, water resistant plywood is Class II, moisture resistant plywood Class III, and moisture resistant plywood Class IIII. Different types of prices have large differences and should be selected according to different purposes.
(2) Blockboard
The joinery is made up of core panels, and the two outer surfaces are glued to each other. The nail holding force of this board is higher than that of plywood and particle board. The price of this board is more expensive than plywood and particle board, and it is suitable for high-end cabinet products. The processing technology is similar to traditional solid wood.
(three) honeycomb panel
The honeycomb panel can also be called honeycomb paper, which is processed into a honeycomb shape by about 200g kraft paper, and the stretchable stretch product is divided into three grades A, B and C. Its advantages are: light weight, not easy to deform, but it is used alone in combination with MDF or particle board. It is especially suitable for anti-deformation large-span countertops or door cores that are easily deformed by moisture. However, it is cold or hot pressed during production, so production efficiency is low.
(four) fiberboard
The fiberboard is formed by hot pressing of wood through fiber separation. It is divided into high density and medium density by density. Usually used as medium density fiberboard, the specific gravity is about 0.8. Its advantage is that the surface is smooth, easy to paste the Boeing film, spray adhesive tape, not easy to absorb moisture deformation, the disadvantage is that the effective drilling times are less than the particle board, the price is 5-10% higher than the particle board.
(5) Particleboard
The particle board is mainly made by wood cutting through a certain temperature and hot pressing of the rubber. The wood cutting consists of veneer wood cutting, bagasse, wood shavings and other main ingredients. The general quality particleboard is made of wood shavings, which consists of a core layer, an outer layer and a transition layer. The outer surface layer contains a high amount of glue, which can increase the nail holding force, moisture resistance and sanding treatment. The processing of the particle board uses the rubber compound and a certain solvent, so it contains a certain amount of benzene chemical substances, and has E0 and E1 according to the content thereof. At the same level as the E2 grade particleboard, the moisture-proof particleboard is also separated, and the price is slightly higher than that of the ordinary particleboard.
(6) Science and Technology Wood
The science and technology wood is a new type of all-wood decorative material with superior performance, which is made of ordinary wood (fast-growing material) and using bionics principle to carry out various modified and physicochemical treatments on ordinary wood and fast-growing materials. Compared with natural materials, it hardly bends, cracks or twists. The density can be artificially controlled, and the product stability is good. In the process of processing, it does not have the waste and value loss in the processing of natural wood, and the comprehensive utilization rate of wood can be increased to more than 85%.
Wing Bolts, or Wing Screws, featured elongated `wings` that are designed to be easily operated by hand and are created to DIN 316 standard.
They can be used with Wing Nuts to create an exceptional fastening that can be adjusted from various positions.
Wing Bolts host lengths is customized, with varying wing widths also available.
Wing screws are a type of fastener that have a wing-shaped head for easy manual tightening and loosening. They typically have a threaded body and are used to secure objects together or to provide a means of adjustment. The wings on the head of the screw allow for quick and convenient hand turning, eliminating the need for tools such as screwdrivers or wrenches. Wing screws are commonly used in applications where frequent adjustments or removals are required, such as in furniture assembly, machinery, or DIY projects.
Wing screws are a type of fastener that have a large, flat, and often wing-shaped head. They are designed to be tightened or loosened by hand, without the need for tools. Here are some ways to describe wing screws:
1. Wing screws are threaded fasteners with a wide, flat head that resembles a wing.
2. These screws have a unique design, featuring a broad, wing-like head for easy manual tightening.
3. Wing screws are easily identifiable due to their distinctive head, which has two extended wings on either side.
4. These screws are specifically designed for quick and convenient hand tightening or loosening, eliminating the need for tools.
5. Wing screws have a large, flat head that provides ample surface area for a comfortable grip during manual operation.
6. These fasteners feature a head with extended wings, allowing for easy and secure handling, even in tight spaces.
7. Wing screws are commonly used in applications that require frequent adjustments or where tool-free installation is desired.
8. The wing-shaped head of these screws provides enhanced leverage, making them easy to tighten or loosen by hand.
9. Wing screws are often made of durable materials such as stainless steel or brass, ensuring long-lasting performance.
10. These screws are commonly used in various industries, including furniture assembly, automotive, and electronics, due to their ease of use and versatility.
