Water purifier purchase guide clearly understand the "standard" peace of mind to buy

Many water purifiers (straight water dispensers) buyers do not have basic common sense, and think that all the water purifier products are similar, so when you buy the product, you just bought one back. However, consumers are ignorant and even completely wrong in understanding the national standards and sanitation of water purifiers and the so-called “3C certification”. Some manufacturers are motivated by interests, even misleading consumers, and misleading consumers, making some consumers more ignorant, unable to tell whether it is right or wrong, and ultimately lead to the purchase of not really good products.

Some people buy water purifier products only to see the national standards, in fact, it is a big deal. Water purifiers that only meet national standards are actually the standard for tap water. If your tap water is qualified and your requirements are only low-level in the national standard, then buying a water purifier is “get off your pants and fart – and do more.” The quality of a really good water purifier is much higher than the national standard. Those who purchase water purifiers must not only be satisfied with national standards. Otherwise, it is too worthless to spend thousands of dollars. In fact, this standard is constantly improving. Before, there was a "Water purifier is bought home. Do you know what the water standard is?" There are also standards for water discharge. Different water purifiers meet different standards. Let's take a look at the "national standards" under normal circumstances.

1. What is the national standard for water purifiers (general water quality processors)?

The so-called “national standard” for water purifier refers to the “Sanitary Safety and Function Evaluation Specification for Drinking Water Quality Processors – General Water Quality Processor” implemented by China from October 1, 2001. This standard is the basis for the state to issue health approvals.

The so-called “Drinking Water Quality Processor” is a “drinking water quality processor with the purpose of using municipal tap water or other centralized water supply as raw water and further processing to improve the quality of drinking water and remove some harmful substances in the water”. It is also the "water purifier" we often say.

What is the basis for the water quality of this water purifier? The effluent quality of the drinking water quality processor should meet the requirements of the “Sanitary Standards for Drinking Water Quality” (2001). What is the sanitary standard for drinking water quality? The standard of drinking water quality is actually the standard of tap water we use. To put it bluntly, any water purifier that meets the qualified tap water quality is a qualified product and can be issued a sanitation approval by the state.

Since 2006, China has implemented the new GB5749-2006 "Standard for Drinking Water". Advance with the times, that is to say, the current water purifier standards as long as they meet the new standard of drinking water. But it is only a "tap standard."

Friends, seeing this, you will suddenly realize that the original national standard for water purifiers is so low, it is only the standard for qualified tap water! But this is true. Therefore, the requirements for water purifier products that meet national standards are very low. As long as the inspection is carried out, it is almost impossible to have a water purifier that does not conform to the national standard.

To this end, we conclude that the national standard for water purifiers is a very low, very broad standard and a safety threshold for water quality. The national standard for water purifiers is not mysterious and does not represent high-end and high-grade.

Second, the wrong understanding of the "3C" certification of water purifier

Some people impose "3C" certification on all water purifiers, which is wrong. Generally, a water purifier that uses electricity needs “3C” certification, while a water purifier that does not use electricity does not need “3C” certification. The “3C” certification is primarily a security consideration. There is no major safety issue with a water purifier that does not use electricity. ——The water purifier is used to treat tap water. The tap water itself is safe water or basically safe water. Water purifiers are not equivalent to home appliances, and many water purifiers do not use electricity.

The so-called 3C certification is China's compulsory product certification system, the English name ChinaCompulsoryCertification, the English abbreviation CCC.
