On July 9, Shuangfeng Rongcheng started construction of a 5 million double-finished shoe production line project in the Shuangfeng Economic Development Zone, marking a new breakthrough for Shuangfeng County to undertake the transfer and development of coastal industry processing trade.

Rongcheng Footwear Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 5 million US dollars and covers an area of ​​170 acres. It will build 8 production lines for sports shoes and produce 5 million pairs of Adidas finished shoes annually. Rong Wende, general manager of Rongcheng Footwear, told reporters: As the second phase project of Rongcheng Footwear in the Shuangfeng Economic Development Zone, the company has cooperated with well-known brand 361 sports shoes. The business will be more extensive and the prospects will be more brilliant. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the year. When it is put into production, it can solve more than 10,000 labor and employment, and the annual sales income can reach 60 to 80 million US dollars, and it can also promote the development of related industries.

In recent years, with the acceleration of labor-intensive and low-value-added industries in the developed coastal regions, the Shuangfeng County Party Committee and County Government have reviewed the situation, taking the shoemaking industry as the key industry for the introduction and support of development. County Economic Development Zone seized the opportunity to take the transfer of the coastal footwear industry as the main direction of investment promotion. There have been several international and domestic well-known footwear enterprises such as Xingang International, Handan Footwear and Rongcheng Footwear. The bimodal shoe-making enterprises have grown from scratch and from small to large. At present, the county has a total of more than 20 shoe-making enterprises, with an annual output of 10 million pairs of semi-finished products such as soles and uppers.
