Coal Production Statistics for the First Half of China's Coal Production Provinces

Guizhou:

From January to June, Guizhou Province produced 84.46 million tons of raw coal, a year-on-year increase of 5.9%. Commodity coal sales reached 79.58 million tons, an increase of 5.2% year-on-year. Among them, 67.46 million tons were sold in Guizhou Province, an increase of 9.67 million tons over the same period last year, an increase of 16.7%; sales outside the province were 12.13 million tons, a decrease of 5.56 million tons, a decrease of 45.9%.

As of the end of June, coal reserves in Guizhou province totaled 6.9 million tons, an increase of 4.376 million tons over the same period; the power plant stored more than 5 million tons of coal.

Guangdong:

In June, Guangdong Province transferred 14.64 million tons of domestic coal, a year-on-year decrease of 5.4%, and it experienced the first monthly negative growth since the second half of 2009. Among them, 8.36 million tons of coal, down 18.4%. Imported coal was 5.64 million tons, an increase of 18.7%. From January to June, Guangdong Province transferred a total of 89.82 million tons of domestic coal, an increase of 12.3% year-on-year. Among them, 55.53 million tons of coal, an increase of 6.1%. Coal imports 32.2 million tons, an increase of 65.2%.

Since the beginning of this year, the coal transportation order in Guangdong province has been stable, the market is basically stable, and inventory has remained at a high level. As of July 12, coal stocks in the entire society were about 13.7 million tons, an increase of 1 million tons from the end of last year. Among them, 34 main coal-fired power plants have an inventory of 6.77 million tons, which can be used for an average of 22 days. Guangzhou Harbor's coal inventory is 3.04 million tons, which is at a relatively high level.

Henan:

In the first half of the year, the production, sales, and sales of coal in Henan Province decreased year-on-year, inventory increased, and supply was relatively loose. The province's coal output was 72.23 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 22.3%; of which, state-owned coal enterprises completed production of 68.26 million tons, down 8.3%. The sales volume reached 75.1 million tons, a decrease of 22%; of which, state-owned coal enterprises completed 61.88 million tons, a decrease of 14%. The railway coal transport volume reached 31.51 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 11.4%; of which, the state-owned coal transportation capacity was 26.12 million tons, a decrease of 9.2%.

At the end of June, the inventory of coal enterprises in Henan Province totaled 3.34 million tons, an increase of 1.95 million tons year-on-year; of which, 2.68 million tons were state-owned key enterprises, an increase of 2.01 million tons year-on-year.

Inner Mongolia:

In the first half of the year, Inner Mongolia produced 517 million tons of raw coal, a year-on-year increase of 14.8%. Among them, the western region produced 355 million tons of raw coal, an increase of 14.4%; the eastern region produced 162 million tons of raw coal, an increase of 15.7%. Cumulative sales of 510 million tons of coal, an increase of 70 million tons, an increase of 14.5%. Among them, 200 million tons were sold in the zone and 310 million tons were sold outside the zone.

At the end of June, coal mines had an inventory of 9.5 million tons, an increase of 6.3 million tons year-on-year, an increase of 6.2 million tons from the beginning of the year, and a larger increase in coal inventories.

Xinjiang:

In the first half of the year, the coal economy in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region continued to grow rapidly. According to the industry dispatch express report, from January to June, the total coal production in the Xinjiang region was 61.36 million tons (including the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, the same below), an increase of 15.93 million tons year-on-year.

Increased by 35.1%. Coal sales were 62.2 million tons, an increase of 14.95 million tons, an increase of 31.7%. At the end of June, the coal inventory in the region was 14,360 tons, an increase of 580,000 tons from the beginning of the year. The cumulative total output value of the coal industry was 10.9 billion yuan (current price), accounting for 3.2% of the total industrial output value of the region; the industrial added value was 6.2 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 22.8%.

Chongqing:

In June, Chongqing produced 3.17 million tons of raw coal, a decrease of 410,000 tons. The sale of commodity coal was 2.7 million tons, a reduction of 200,000 tons. In the first half of the year, a total of 17.89 million tons of raw coal was produced, a decrease of 2.69 million tons year-on-year, a decrease of 13%. The cumulative sales of commercial coal reached 16.28 million tons, a decrease of 2.37 million tons, a decrease of 13%.

At the end of June, the average price of commercial coal in Chongqing was 390 yuan/ton, which fell for four consecutive months.

The city's coal stocks are 4.39 million tons. Among them, 750,000 tons of coal inventories, the main power plant inventory of 2.54 million tons, 1.1 billion tons of electricity coal base inventory, an increase of 280,000 tons last month, reaching a historical high.
