Since the zirconia oxygen analyzer is a long-term on-line detection and measurement device, dust generated by boilers and other equipment (especially coal burning furnaces or powder kiln furnaces) can block the gas sampling pipeline, causing the measured values ​​to be distorted or even impossible to measure. At this time, the dust in the sampling pipe must be purged regularly, and the length of the purge time is determined by the degree of dust accumulation. This purge method requires the oxygen analyzer to have the corresponding function or the maintenance device supporting the oxygen sensor. These devices can only be installed with a manual valve to control the compressed air or the air pump periodically passes into the purge port to dedust the probe, but you must pay attention to the following conditions:

Since the oxygen potential of the oxygen sensor will decrease during the purging process, the lowest potential drop will be 2mV. At this time, the detected oxygen potential does not represent the atmosphere in the furnace. This must be noted; the flow rate of the purge air must be guaranteed. It can remove the dust accumulation. During the purging process, the oxygen potential output value of the oxygen sensor can be noticed. If the oxygen potential value has not decreased, indicating that the air flow rate is too small, the dust is not cleaned, it should be adjusted or the purge pipe should be checked, and the purge may be performed. The pipeline has been blocked; the passage of the purge port is directly connected to the furnace. After each purge, the valve should be closed to block the purge hole to prevent the negative pressure air from entering the furnace and affect the detection of the oxygen sensor. .

When analyzing the quality of an oxygen sensor, it should be considered as a separate detection component. When testing the oxygen potential of the oxygen sensor, all the wires connected to the oxygen sensor should be disconnected, and the oxygen potential should be directly detected at the output of the oxygen sensor using a digital table with high internal resistance. By measuring the oxygen potential, it is compared with the value at normal use.
