Focusing on the functional apparel industry, a number of brands have significant advantages. Enterprises with strong industrial dynamics will build Shaanxi into the development goal of "China's hi-tech functional textile and apparel industry base."

There are more than 100 enterprises engaged in the production of professional clothing in Shaanxi Province, of which there are 12 enterprises with dominant business wear, and the annual production capacity is 4 million pieces and the annual sales volume is more than 500 million yuan. In the product structure of these enterprises, the proportion of functional professional apparel used in the petroleum, chemical, machinery, electric power, coal, transportation and other industries developed through the use of functional textile materials and research achievements of Shaanxi Textile Research Institute has exceeded 60% of the total output. The profit rate is 5 to 10 percentage points higher than that of ordinary business wear.

At present, Shaanxi's functional textile and apparel industry has formed a relatively complete scientific research - textile - printing and dyeing - functional professional wear industrial chain, industrial development advantages are obvious.
