What does CSA mean on earbuds and earmuffs?

A and B classes may have an L associated with it. Therefore, hearing protection is divided into A, B, AL, BL, and C.

AL, BL means that the hearing protector attenuates at least 20 dBA when tested at 125 Hz. This is an important factor when choosing a hearing protection device to protect low frequency noise.
