Sulfuric acid can distinguish between 302 and 304, 316 and 317, prepare nitric acid with a volume concentration of 20-30% and a temperature of 60-66 ° C, finely grind the trimming of the sample, then clean it in nitric acid, passivate half hour. Immersing the 302 and 304 steels in a sulfuric acid solution having a volume concentration of 10% and heating to 71 ° C is rapidly corroded and generates a large amount of bubbles, and the sample turns black. 316, 317 will not be corroded or react slowly under the same conditions.
