The first domestic sensor automatic calibration system was successfully developed

It is reported that the sensor automatic calibration system developed by Nanrui Water Resources and Hydropower Branch recently passed the inspection of the Nanjing Metrology Supervision and Inspection Institute and obtained relevant certificates of conformity. "Automatic Calibration System for Displacement Sensors" and "Automated Calibration System for Strain Sensors" have achieved the first time in China for the automatic calibration of displacement and strain sensors and achieved major technological breakthroughs.

The system is mainly composed of a transmission mechanism, a measurement control mechanism, and a computer control management system. The system can automatically export the calibration data table, and automatically calculate the accuracy of the sensor being calibrated, determine whether the sensor is qualified, greatly reduce the labor intensity, increase the work efficiency, reduce the calibration cost, and further ensure the calibration quality of the instrument.

Currently, the calibration and detection equipment for domestic strain and displacement sensors mostly use manual correction instruments. Such calibration of instruments takes a lot of time and manpower, and the intensity of work is large. The average calibration time of each sensor is about 20 minutes; at the same time, the influence of human factors on the calibration data The difference between the skill level and responsibility of different test and calibration personnel affects the consistency of the calibration performance of the sensor. The newly developed series of automatic calibration system has effectively reduced the influence of the original manual calibration equipment and human factors on the calibration coefficient of the instrument and improved the accuracy of the calibration. After inspection by the Measurement Supervision and Inspection Institute, the positioning accuracy of the displacement correction instrument was ±145 μm, and the positioning accuracy of the strain correction instrument was ±2.5 μm. The successful calibration of the new series of automatic sensor calibration systems ended the long-term dependence of domestic hydropower engineering safety monitoring sensors. The situation of manual calibration achieved the automation of sensor calibration.
