In response to the current drought, agricultural experts have recently reminded farmers: "This year, it is emphasized that early application of wheat to green fertilizer is highly targeted."
Experts said that because the autumn drought lasted for 50 to 60 days last year, the wheat sowing period was lengthened, and a considerable part of it was late or sowed and later emerged in the wheat field. The seedlings were small and weak, usually 3 to 3 leaves. The roots of the seedlings are overwintering. Compared with the normal wheat fields with 2 to 3 tillers above 5-6 leaves, the roots and seedlings are reduced by at least 200 kg per mu. The reason is that there are too few green leaves that receive sunlight in a unit area, and light leakage is serious. In the process of growth of wheat, both roots need to absorb mineral nutrients from the soil, and at the same time, organic nutrients need to be produced through green leaves. The two are mutually coordinated entities. For example, by early application of green fertilizer, the small and weak seedlings will grow rapidly after “lichunâ€, and the number of spikes per mus will increase by 50,000 or so, and the yield of 50 kilograms or more will be recovered. Pest and disease defense, and finally get a better harvest.
Experts also specially reminded farmers that in the wheat fields with 5 to 600 leaves per acre and 500,000 to 600,000 or even 700,000 to 800,000 total stems per acre, they must not be returned to the green fertilizer, otherwise they will increase excessive spring. Tillering, causing the group to be too large, the field is closed, which is not good for high yield. Some wheat fields have seedlings in the early stage of the wheat field, and later rained out, and the gap between the seedlings and the large seedlings is large, and it is also possible to apply some "eccentric fertilizer" to the seedlings.
In addition, in some wheat fields, if weeds have not been removed before, the chemical weeding should be carried out after the temperature rises, especially in the spring wheat field. The jointing stage is earlier than the semi-winter variety and should be removed before the jointing. (Agricultural Investment Report)
