Hardware foreign trade companies welcome good anti-dumping tax after the delay

Recently, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China issued the No. 1 announcement of 2010. According to Article 48 of the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People's Republic of China, the deadline for the collection of anti-dumping duties and the commitment period for price commitments shall not exceed five years; however, it shall be determined by review. The termination of anti-dumping duties may lead to the continued or recurrence of dumping and damage, and the collection of anti-dumping duties.

From the date of the announcement, the domestic industry or a natural person, legal person or related organization representing the domestic industry may submit an application for final review in writing to the Ministry of Commerce 60 days before the expiration date of the relevant anti-dumping measures. The application should contain sufficient evidence that the termination of anti-dumping duties will likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping and damage.

If the domestic industry or the natural person, legal person or related organization representing the domestic industry fails to apply according to the provisions of this announcement, the Ministry of Commerce has not decided to initiate the final review before the termination of the anti-dumping measures. The relevant anti-dumping measures will be terminated from the due date.

The Ministry of Commerce issued an announcement extending the deadline for the collection of anti-dumping duties, which is definitely good news for the vast number of hardware foreign trade companies.
