On May 23, Bekaert (Jiangyin) Superhard Composite New Materials Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 230 million US dollars, held a groundbreaking ceremony. So far, Bekaert has established five joint ventures and one sole proprietorship in the development zone for 16 years, with a total investment of more than 500 million US dollars. Its super hard composite wear-resistant new material can be applied to multi-line processing machines and will have ultra-high hardness. High-strength and ultra-high-strength block or rod-shaped precious metal crystals are processed into high-precision and high-gloss wafers. After the completion of the company, the production capacity will reach 50,000 tons, becoming the most advanced and largest-scale production enterprise in the world. It will change the long-term dependence of such products on the domestic market and meet the needs of the rapid development of China's semiconductor industry and photovoltaic industry. .
