Replace the turn-to-turn test of the whole machine by the overvoltage test, that is, increase the voltage to 1.3 times the rated voltage after the no-load test is completed, and it will take 3 minutes to check whether there is a problem of winding burnout.
If the complete turn-to-turn insulation test is to be performed, it is recommended to carry out according to the following principles:
(1) Wound rotor motor, open the rotor winding and ensure that the rotor is stationary. At this time, the voltage induced by the rotor winding will also be 30% higher than its rated voltage, which also verifies the inter-turn insulation of the rotor winding.
(2) For multi-speed single-winding motors, only the maximum speed wiring method is tested. For multi-winding motors, each speed winding should be tested separately.
(3) Motors that require an overspeed test should be conducted after the overspeed test.
