1. The failure method of the shaft: mainly fatigue cracking due to lack of fatigue strength, plastic deformation or brittle fracture due to lack of static strength, wear, deformation and oscillation beyond the allowable scale.
2. The drawing of the shaft should be satisfied with the following criteria:
.1) Based on the operating conditions of the shaft, production batch and economic criteria; select appropriate materials, blank methods and heat treatment methods.
.2) According to the specific conditions of the force condition of the shaft, the device orientation of the parts on the shaft, the cooperation scale and positioning method, the machining method of the shaft, etc.; determine the reasonable layout shape and scale of the shaft;
.3) Shaft strength calculation or check. For slender shafts with large forces (such as worm shafts) and shafts with high rigidity requirements; stiffness calculation is also required.
